Healthy and low-calorie product. They are used in the cooking of salads, soups and other Asian dishes. Dense sheets of the same size have a standard green-brown color. Kombu cannot be washed; they must be wiped with a dry cloth and soaked for four hours. The water in which the kombu was soaked is added to the miso soup broth.
